About Mohammad Amir

Mohammad Amir serves as Head of Quality at BD, (Becton, Dickinson, and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He is responsible for driving quality as an enabler for business growth and to drive the culture of ‘Quality is everyone’s responsibility ‘at the organization.

Amir brings over 23 years of experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG and healthcare. He joined BD in February 2017 as Quality head in Gurgaon and successfully instituted the Quality function at BD India/South Asia. Amir along with his team has been driving efforts towards Zero Late Complaint Reporting and customer experience and quality management system.

Before joining BD in 2017, Amir worked with Reckitt Benckiser as a Regional Quality Compliance Manager, he also worked in the Quality function with companies like J&J medical, Taksal Pharma, Swiss Arabian Perfumes and Ranbaxy Laboratories.

Amir holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry.

In his free time, Amir is passionate about DIY home improvement, cooking and photography.
