Proactive delivery of Safety Data Sheets
BD is committed to ensuring our customers have timely access to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for BD products.
As part of this commitment, BD will proactively provide the applicable Safety Data Sheet:
- With the first supply of a product, and
- Whenever the Safety Data Sheet is updated.
The SDS will be provided electronically, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, and at no additional cost.
No change to the BD Regulatory Documents (RegDoc) website
There is no change to the current BD Regulatory Documents (RegDoc) website.
Customers may continue to visit the RegDoc webpage at any time to search for and download the Safety Data Sheets they need.
Why this change?
By proactively providing Safety Data Sheets in addition to making them available on RegDoc, BD aims to:
- Support regulatory compliance,
- Enhance the customer experience, and
- Ensure timely access to up‑to‑date safety information.
