Hans Braunstein named new Nordic Country General Manager at Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD)

Hans Braunstein started his new role on February 20, 2023. He previously held the role of Country Business Leader Nordics for the business area MDS. The ambition is now to continue contributing to the development of sustainable patient-focused healthcare through, among other things, innovation, and collaboration.

Hans Braunstein has extensive experience from various positions within both Nordic and European medical technology companies. In his new role, Hans will be responsible for 260 employees in the Nordics. Hans Braunstein succeeds Helena Bragd.

“I feel deeply honored to have the opportunity to represent BD in my new role as Nordic Country General Manager and very much look forward to continuing to develop BD with patient and healthcare worker safety in focus,” says Hans Braunstein.

During his two and a half years at BD, Hans has built strong relations and substantial business-acumen across the Nordic organization. With the support of his associates and continued collaboration with partners and customers, Hans looks forward to deepening his relationships and exploring innovative healthcare solutions. At the same time, he has ambitious plans for the company moving forward. 

“As a company, BD is big enough to make a difference. Together with my associates, we will continue to grow the company's operations while simultaneously contributing to making healthcare more efficient in everything from research and diagnostics to emergency care and surgery with the solutions and services we provide,” says Hans Braunstein.

Hans Braunstein tillträdde tjänsten den 20 februari 2023. Han har tidigare haft rollen Country Business Leader Nordics för affärsområdet MDS. Ambitionen är nu att forsätta bidra till att utveckla en hållbar patientfokuserad sjukvård genom bland annat innovativa lösningar och samarbete.

Hans Braunstein har sedan tidigare stor erfarenhet från skilda befattningar inom både nordiska och europeiska verksamheter inom den medicintekniska bolagssektorn. Han kommer nu att ansvara för 260 anställda i Norden. Hans Braunstein efterträder Helena Bragd.

”Jag känner mig djupt hedrad att få möjlighet att företräda BD i min nya roll som nordisk chef och ser mycket fram emot att forsätta utveckla BD med både patienters och sjukvårdspersonals säkerhet i fokus,” säger Hans Braunstein.

Hans Braunstein har arbetat på BD i två och ett halvt år och har under denna tid byggt upp ett starkt förtroende inom bolagets nordiska verksamhet. Han känner stora delar av den nordiska organisationen sedan tidigare och ser fram emot att fördjupa sina relationer med både medarbetare, samarbetspartners och kunder. Samtidigt har han ambitiösa planer för bolaget framöver.

”Vi, BD, är stora nog att göra skillnad. Samtidigt som vi skall fortsätta växa företagets verksamhet ska jag tillsammans med våra medarbetare i Sverige, Danmark, Finland och Norge också hjälpa till att effektivisera sjukvården inom allt ifrån forskning och diagnostik till akutsjukvård och kirurgi med de lösningar och tjänster vi tillhandahåller,” säger Hans Braunstein.
