Overview


BD Mycoflask™ sterile, disposable and ready-to-use BD BBL™ culture media are prepared in the special BD Mycoflask™. This variety of media helps isolate and cultivate tubercle bacilli and fungi.

Loss of moisture prevention
Tightly fitted screw caps eliminate loss of moisture, even when incubation is extended to eight weeks or more.
Offset well
This product features a deep offset well that provides a deep culture bed.
Cultivation area
The product includes a surface area of 5.4 cm for cultivation.
Horizontal incubation
Horizontal incubation enables you to flood agar surface with inoculum.
Reduced breakage
The flat-sided bottle reduces risk of breakage.
