A telescoping needle shield passively covers the needle, helping protect clinicians from needlestick injuries.

Integrated design

Integrated design provides manipulation further away from the insertion site, potentially reducing catheter dislodgment.

Removable adapter

A removable PRN adapter can be replaced with an ISO-compliant needle-free connector.

BD Vialon™ biomaterial

Softens in the vein, enabling longer dwell times,1* minimising restarts and reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis.1*
