The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector is a closed connection device designed to provide a variety of benefits in IV therapy including helping prevent infection and improve clinician safety. Free of needles, they help reduce the risk of bloodborne needlestick injuries.1 A smooth access surface can be effectively disinfected prior to medication administration.
Standard with administration, gravity, secondary and extension sets, our BD SmartSite™ Needle-Free Connector technology is designed to enhance safety for both the clinician and the patient.
The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector is appropriate for a variety of infusion needs, including power injections.
It is designed to provide a leak-free connection with the BD Texium™ System2 and is the only connector that enables standardisation with BD Alaris™ Pump/Gravity Sets.
