For BV, this assay utilizes a proprietary, microbiome-based algorithm to provide a definitive positive or negative BV result.1
For VVC, BD Vaginal Panel separately reports Candida krusei and Candida glabrata, two Candida species that may not respond to traditional therapeutics.2
