Overview

Male condom catheters, such as the SureStep™ MEC kits, are a Foley alternative for your patients with male anatomy. However, approximately 30%* of men have incompatible anatomy for condom catheters, leaving nurses without good alternatives for these patients.1 The PureWick™ Male External Catheter (MEC) is designed for non-invasive urine output management in male patients who are currently incompatible with condom catheters.2,3 Integrating PureWick™ MEC into your bladder management options helps protect skin by wicking away voided urine and lowers CAUTI risk by reducing indwelling catheter days.4,5,6
