Advanced Material Science Symposium:  Pittsburgh, PA

Intended audience: For surgeons and clinicians seeking a better understanding of what's current in the field of abdominal wall reconstruction while gaining a more advanced understanding of the techniques and materials available for use.


One and a half day educational program designed to provide a comprehensive exchange of scientific advancements. Discussions will include an overview of what the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine is doing to help overcome some of the unique challenges facing surgeons in the world of hernia repair. The Faculty members will provide a scientific review of a variety of mesh materials currently available for use in abdominal wall reconstruction.
