Overview

BD CTGCTV2 is designed to detect the 3 most prevalent non-viral sexually transmitted infections in a single assay.

  • Chlamydia trachomatis (CT)
  • Neisseria gonorrhoeae (GC)
  • Trichomonas vaginalis (TV)

 

BD CTGCTV2 provides flexibility with a wide variety of convenient sample types depending on patient and provider needs. Sample types include:

  • Vaginal swab (clinician-collected)
  • Vaginal swab (patient-collected in a health care setting)
  • Endocervical swab (clinician-collected)1
  • Urine (both male and female)
  • Gynecological using PreservCyt® Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) Media1
