Gary Sorsher serves as executive vice president and chief quality officer. He also serves as a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.
With more than three decades of experience leading quality organizations across world-class MedTech companies, Sorsher brings deep expertise in complex, highly regulated environments and a strong track record of strengthening quality systems while supporting innovation, growth, and operational excellence.
Most recently, he served as senior vice president, quality and chief quality officer at Edwards Lifesciences, where he led the company's global quality organization and helped advance quality excellence across the enterprise. Sorsher joined Edwards in 2015 as vice president of quality and was promoted to senior vice President, quality and chief quality officer in 2020.
Prior to Edwards, Sorsher held leadership positions at Allergan, where he served as vice president of quality and compliance; Endologix, as vice president of quality; Bard Peripheral Vascular, as director of quality engineering; and Cordis, Johnson & Johnson, as director of quality for new product development.
Sorsher holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Belarus Polytechnic Institute.
