Roland Goette
Executive Vice President and President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Roland Goette serves as executive vice president and president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He is also a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.
Goette joined BD in 2000 as European marketing manager for Flow Cytometry. He then was named to a number of roles with increasing responsibility, including serving as business director of the BD Biosciences business in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, and as vice president (VP) and general manager (GM) of BD Medical Surgical Systems for Central and South Asia. In this role, he spent three years in Singapore, and then was named VP/GM of Medical Surgical Systems in Europe.
Goette earned a doctorate in chemistry from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich.
