Manish Sinha serves as executive vice president and chief people officer at BD, where he is responsible for leading the company’s Human Resources function. In this role, Sinha drives BD’s approach to talent, culture and organizational design in support of its long‑term growth, innovation agenda and focus on operational excellence. He is a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.
With more than 15 years at BD, Sinha brings deep experience across the company and a strong track record of execution, driving operational simplicity and agility, strengthening leadership capabilities, and aligning talent to accelerate performance and impact.
Sinha has held human resources roles across BD’s global business segments, regions and functions, including leading global human resources operations, and talent development in the Greater Asia region. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of human resources and organizational effectiveness, and has played a key role in driving BD’s corporate portfolio strategy, including large-scale mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to joining BD, Sinha served as vice president of human resources for GE Capital Services (later Genpact) Europe, where he scaled operations from a single-country presence to seven countries in Europe and North Africa. Earlier in his career, he helped establish GE’s Transportation engineering center in India and worked as a human resources technology consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Manish started his career as a manufacturing human resources leader in India.
Sinha earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University, and Master of Business Administration in Human resources from the International Management Institute in New Delhi, India.
