Timothy M. Ring serves as a director of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Ring has been a member of the board since 2017, previously serving as chairman and chief executive officer of C. R. Bard, Inc. from 2003 to 2017.
Ring also is lead director of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, and a co-founder of TEAMFund, Inc., an impact fund focused on delivering medical technology to sub-Saharan Africa and India.
Mr. Ring contributes to the Board deep expertise resulting from his 20 years of experience in various leadership positions at C. R. Bard, including as chairman and chief executive officer. Mr. Ring’s expertise covers many facets of business, including strategy, product development, financial matters and international operations, and has extensive experience in the healthcare industry.
