Robert L. “Robbie” Huffines serves as a director of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Huffines has been a member of the board since 2025.
Mr. Huffines served as Global Chair, Investment Banking of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., a leading global financial services firm, from February 2017 to May 2024. From 2011 to February 2017, he served as Vice Chairman and Co-Chair, Global; Strategic Advisory Council; from 2002 to 2010, he served as Co-Head, Global Healthcare Investing Banking; from 1991 to 2002, he served in various positions in Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions and Healthcare Industry Groups, all at J.P. Morgan. Huffines also serves on the board of directors of Insulet Corporation, Nextech Invest, Eikon Therapeutics and The Hastings Center for Biomedical Ethics.
Huffines is an experienced healthcare executive, with knowledge of, and experience in, the healthcare industry and the leadership skills and perspectives gained as an executive of one of the largest financial services firms in the world. He also brings to the Board more than 30 years of experience advising healthcare companies on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and financing.
