Vitor Roque serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) at BD, where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s global financial strategy, planning and operations and partnering with business leaders to drive growth, optimize resources and support long-term strategic initiatives across the enterprise. Roque is a member of the BD Executive Leadership Team.
With more than 25 years at BD, Roque has served in a broad range of finance leadership roles across the company's regions, business units and segments, while also supporting key acquisitions and strategic initiatives. Roque recently served as interim CFO, where he successfully led BD’s global finance function during a pivotal period for the company. In this time, he played a critical role advancing the New BD strategy, including completing the separation of the company’s Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions business ahead of schedule.
Prior to that, Roque held several other key positions, including vice president and CFO of the BD Medical Segment and vice president of finance for Medication Management Solutions and BD Biosciences, where he was instrumental in driving financial transformation, optimizing operational efficiency and advancing strategic growth initiatives. Roque’s career at BD has spanned across multiple geographies, including Latin America, Europe and North America, giving him a broad perspective on global healthcare markets.
Roque is a key strategic advisor within BD, driving growth, compliance and major merger and acquisition initiatives.
Roque earned a Business Administration degree from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, an MBA in Finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas and completed executive education at The Wharton School. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Roque is recognized for his strong business acumen and passion for talent development.
