Rapid bacteria growth
The system may be used for rapidly growing bacteria such as Enterobacteriaceae, Staphylococcus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter spp., enterococci and some nonenterococcal streptococci.
Other use
It also may be used for Haemophilus influenzae.
Susceptibility test compatibility

The BD BBL™ Prompt™ inoculation system is for use with the disc diffusion susceptibility test.
