SureStep™ Foley Care Wipes were designed to simplify post-insertio catheter hygiene with a standardized, easy-to-follow method that complements the SureStep™ Foley Catheter System

Simplified Care with Pictographs

This innovative product uses simple pictographic instructions to guide proper use - no complex wording needed. The pictographs are numbered to ensure the user does each step in the correct order.

Color Coded

The pictographs are divided into two columns and are color coded to help the user follow the correct instructions for patients with male anatomy and patients with female anatomy.

Blue icons indicate steps for patients with
male anatomy; pink icons indicate steps for
patients with female anatomy.

This color-coded format also helps guide
which areas of the patient’s anatomy should
be cleaned with the SureStep™ Foley Care Wipes.

Arrows are also included in the pictographs to
clearly demonstrate proper directional use of
the wipes.

5 Wipes, 5 Swipes for Optimal Hygiene

The 5 wipes, 5 swipes icon serves as a crucial reminder for clinicians to use a different wipe for each step. Each pack consists of 5 wipes to correspond to each step.

Ensuring Compliance

The orange compliance sticker is designed to be removed by the clinician performing the patient’s Foley care and placed on the calendar that is on the front of the BD Foley urine meter or bag.

The placement of the orange compliance sticker onto the BD Foley urine meter or bag is to serve as a visual form of documentation that the cleaning was performed.
