BD honors patients with breast cancer

With the introduction of the feminine breast tissue marker shapes, BD honors breast cancer patients in a unique way. And, because BD is committed to improving patients’ lives, we’ve created the In Celebration of Her™ program.

In Celebration of Her program

With each purchase of the Heart, Venus or Ring breast tissue marker shapes, BD will contribute $1 to the American Cancer Society® in honor of breast biopsy patients. This limited time offer enables our customers to celebrate and support their patients with every marker placement.*

Heart, Venus and Ring shapes are available in select SenoMark™ UltraCor™, UltraClip™ Dual Trigger and UltraCor™ Twirl™ Breast Tissue Markers.

American Cancer Society patient and family programs

The American Cancer Society offers support in your community and online to help you during and after cancer treatment.

Visit cancer.org or call us at 1-800-227-2345 for more information.

  • Trusted information

The American Cancer Society National Cancer Information Center offers help as you’re dealing with cancer by connecting you to our caring, trained staff to answer diagnosis questions, identify resources or provide a listening ear. We can assist in English, Spanish and more than 200 other languages via a translation service.

  • Emotional support

Our Reach to Recovery program matches breast cancer patients with trained volunteers who have had similar diagnoses and treatment plans to provide more personal, one-on-one support.

  • Transportation

The American Cancer Society started the Road to Recovery program to overcome a major barrier to care: lack of transportation. This program provides transportation to treatment and other cancer-related appointments through volunteer drivers and transportation grants.

  • Lodging

Our Hope Lodge program provides a free, nurturing home away from home for patients with cancer and their caregivers when they have to travel for treatment.
