How to Report Complaints and Adverse Events

To report a product complaint for a BD Product:

If you are registered for the BD portal, please log in here with your email address and password to access the BD Customer Care Portal to submit a complaint.

Customers, Distributors, and Wholesalers in the US and Canada with a BD account can register for access here.

Product complaints or adverse events can be reported here without registration, or by contacting productcomplaints@bd.com or calling 1.844.823.5433.

Things to consider:

To better facilitate our investigation, please include the following information in your report:

  • Product Name and/or Catalog Number

  • Lot Number or Serial Number

  • What was the issue you experienced?

  • Impact or clinical event that occurred to the patient, healthcare provider or user

  • Is the actual sample or a representative sample/photo available?
    (If possible, please send the affected sample or photo.)

  • Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email
