Guidewires are used to provide access and facilitate passage of endourological instrumentation during urological procedures.
The HydroGlide guidewire is designed to allow access to desired location in the urinary tract without excessive kinking during proper use.
The HydroGlide™ consists of a 145cm stainless steel safety wire, jacketed by an outer spring coil.
The outermost surface of the guidewire is covered in a hydrophilic lubricious coating.
The guidewire is available in three diameter sizes and color-coded for easy identification - Green: .025", Violet .035" and Blue: .038"
