The BD Prevue™ II Vascular Access System can support training with the integrated BD Cue™ Needle Tracking Technology, a virtual on-screen display of needle trajectory allowing clinicians to view proper needle alignment and guidance to a vein. Nurses reported that using BD Cue™ Needle Tracking Software during a simulated ultrasound guided placement was easier than and preferable to ultrasound alone.
