Oncology

Cancer treatments can vary from chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, injectable biologic therapy, and more. These treatments are used to slow, stop, or eliminate the cancer. Treatment regimens for cancer can be taxing on patients through demanding treatment schedules and subsequent side effects.

Biologics developed for oncology treatment with a subcutaneous route of administration may require specialized delivery systems depending on the complexity of the formulation. For example, higher concentration that could lead to higher viscosities to allow for at-home or in-clinic subcutaneous delivery.
